The Data Strategist is responsible for assisting the Director, Revenue Strategy and Center of Excellence in developing business-focused insights through data and communicate key insights to users and key stakeholders.
This individual has a great business acumen and Finance background and has grown their career in roles related to business analysis and planning. Primary responsibilities include ensuring quality data structures for the analysis of data, use of proper statistical analyses, and implementing visualization best practices through Tableau.
The Center of Excellence (COE) is the department that helps all leaders in the organization to define, and then manage and house-keep, the relevant metrics of each business that serve as compass for operational management and overall business efficiency.
This role reports to our Director, Revenue Strategy and Center of Excellence. 
Location: Remote USA


  • Work closely with Director, Revenue Strategy and BI Solutions architects to provide business analytics and reporting to functional areas such as Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success
  • Acts as a data steward; ensures that we develop selected, well defined, documented metrics, which are critical to the business execution
  • Data Ownership: Works closely with Revenue Systems Experts and Data Engineers and to ensure the systems provide the right data to produce the insights required
  • Dives into Forecasting Forensics: reports weekly trends of pipeline in various dimensions to Senior Leadership, creates an engine of consistent reforecasting based on results and leading indicators 
  • Translates business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving performance
  • Conduct correlation and causal analyses to understand the drivers of customer behavior and outcomes
  • Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions
  • Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; works with business users/ business analysts to define process requirements


  • Data modelling expert, can simplify complexity through data and explain complexity in simple terms 
  • Positive mindset, communicates clearly and positively and always shares the “so what” behind the analysis  
  • Are diligent with data and have demonstrated attention to detail – scrutinize numbers, make sure they are accurate 
  • Love to automate processes – strive for continuous improvement and automation to create scalable processes to support company growth 
  • Understanding of development, data modelling and ETL knowledge that includes Data warehouse Data Modelling, Star and Snowflake schema
  • Critical thinking, excellent problem solving, design, debugging, and testing skills
  • Ability to work with multiple different personality types collaboratively, while managing multiple competing priorities and assignments within a fast paced, energetic, and dynamic workplace.
