Who You Are:

We are looking for a Data Engineer responsible for collaborating with various teams to understand all requirements, configure data pipelines from disparate sources, implement data governance, integrate structured and unstructured data, provide strategic recommendations on marketing programs, and perform data activation for various channels. This person will have a good understanding on how to develop and configure enterprise marketing solutions, along with leveraging key functionalities to optimized customer experiences using data, insights, and content.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate on client projects with team members and stakeholders to plan, design, implement, and deploy large-scale data solutions for enterprise marketing.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for data integration and data onboarding initiatives to solve complex technical data issues while understanding and balancing needs.
  • Identify data gaps and interact with technical and non-technical teams to recommend creative solutions based on new use cases and changes in requirements.
  • Perform analysis of data for the purpose of leveraging insights and opportunities for real-time use cases.
  • Advise and develop data roadmaps and play a key leadership role in strategic decisions.
  • Lead discovery workshops to gather requirements, identify gaps, and present solutions with supporting documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant technology degrees
  • Experience with SQL, database modeling, and very large or No-SQL based datasets (Big Data)
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Master Data Management platforms (MDM), Customer Data Platform (CDP), or customer warehouse design
  • Understanding of customer identity management techniques including probabilistic algorithms, de-duplication, consolidation, and customer record splitting
  • Experience with data integration and ingestion using APIs, SDKs, or file-based methods
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate meetings and explain complex concepts along with a thorough understanding of what drives business priorities, strategy, and direction


Special consideration for:

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HCL Unica, SAS, or Pega
  • Experience integrating data from various vendor technologies (e.g., Google Ads, Airship, Braze, social media)
  • Experience with consulting or client-facing role, including speaking publicly to groups and interacting with executives
  • Knowledge of customer journeys and journey mapping
  • Experience with data science tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, Python)
  • Knowledge of machine learning technology
